About the Journal

Journal of Islamic Education Research (p-ISSN: 2716-1005; e-ISSN: 2716-0998) has been accredited (Sinta 4) by the Minister of Research and Technology / Head of National Agency for Research and Innovation No. 225/E/KPT/2022 . Since Vol. 6 (2025), the journal is published four times a year: No. 1 (January–March); No. 2 (April–June); No. 3 (July–September); and No. 4 (October–December). Journal of Islamic Education Research publishes scholarly works examining the integration of local wisdom, Islamic intellectual traditions, and global educational discourse in contemporary Islamic education, with emphasis on: (1) comparative studies of pesantren and madrasah; (2) Islamic intellectual traditions in dialogue with global educational theories; and (3) international debates on religious inclusivity and multiculturalism.
